News: Coach JayJay Wins 1st In San Diego
Coach JayJay of Optimus Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Laguna Niguel had a great showing at the Grappling X Martial Art Tournament in San Diego on November 17th, 2013.
He had 3 fights that he dominated! His first fight he tapped his opponent in under a minute and a half with a Jiu Jitsu choke from the back, his second fight he tapped his opponent again in under a minute and a half with a triangle choke from spider guard! In his final fight he went the distance of the whole 6 minute match and took the gold medal home with a score of 15 – 4. Our Head Instructor Grant Collins from laguna Beach was very proud of such success in his instructor!
