Robbie Chade received his BJJ black Belt on the podium at the IBJJF World Masters Championship this September. Professor Robbie began his jiu-jitsu journey at Optimus BJJ 9 years ago. He has always been a voracious competitor. He has placed gold at both the Pan Americans and the World Masters at every belt level! This kind of achievement is the end result of years of hard work, discipline and proper jiu-jitsu practice.
Professor Robbie is the first to arrive and the last to leave the dojo floor. When on the mats he is quick to help the people who need it and is always one to ‘raise the room’. When it’s time for jiu-jitsu sparring he is relentless and always ready to train hard. He perfectly embodies the work ethic and the mindset of a champion. It is a rare honor to receive your BJJ black belt on the podium, in part because you have to get there. Professor Robbie is there all the time, he lives there. He is an excellent example of a good jiu-jitsu practitioner. He understands the true spirit of jiu-jitsu and we are proud to have him on the roster of Optimus BJJ black belts.
